Weight Loss and Hypnotherapy

If you are like the rest of us, you may be tired of dieting and ready for a change. Maybe it is it time to end the cycle of good and bad eating.

Hypnotherapy can help you to release old habits and patterns that cause you to overeat and create new patterns that will leave your body healthy, energized and ready for the long haul. You will be thrilled and motivated to exercise.

We were all born with the ability to know the right amount of food to power our bodies and maintain a consistent level of energy throughout the day. When we are young, our minds often create associations with food that can last into adulthood. Some of them are not so healthy. Have you every done one of the following:

  • Eaten out of boredom
  • Eaten to heal a broken or lonely heart
  • Eaten as a substitute for intimacy
  • Lacked the motivation to exercise
Most of us have done some of these things as one time or another. When we were young, our metabolism may have been able to manage this intake, but not as well in adulthood. If anything, our bodies are not growing and we actually require less food then when we were in our late teens.

It is imperative that we adjust our intake to support our current metabolism and weight goals. Diet plans may come and go, but if we want to make changes that actually last, we must release the old patterns that drive our eating habits. Until new patterns are created, we run the risk of continuing a cycle of weight loss and gain that may never end. Hypnotherapy is a fantastic tool with proven results to achieve this now.

Hypnotherapy Can Help You to Lose Weight Permanently

Typically conventional weight loss programs engage the part of the conscious mind usually referred to as will power. Whether these programs involve calorie restriction, exercise, drugs, or depriving oneself, they all seem to fail to address the root cause of why a person is overweight.

It is through hypnotherapy that the client is able to reach an understanding of why the weight is there in the first place. Learn what purpose the extra weight is serving and how that understanding of your issues and needs might be met in a less destructive and perhaps more holistic way. I have a number of methods at their disposal that would be helpful in achieving a permanent change in your relationship with food. In addition to the emotional, habitual and cultural drivers behind inappropriate eating patterns, the physiological aspect to weight gain should be addressed in order to increase the chances of success.

Let the beauty we love
