If you're reading this, you're probably looking for assistance and wondering how I might be able to help.
You may be worried about your career or your relationship, or you may be feeling anxious or depressed.
Don't give up hope. Whether you are having difficulty in your personal life or in your relationship, I can help you to make it better.
My Background
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with two doctorate degrees; a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Doctorate in Naturopathy.
I specialize in individual, couples, and family therapy using traditional psychology and integrative medicine.
As a Doctor of Psychology, I love helping people to feel better and helping couples strengthen and repair their relationships.
I am eternally optimistic and believe that any situation and any relationship can be made better.
In addition to caring for people in a private practice setting, I have worked extensively with nonprofit and educational communities.
I currently serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Randi Fredricks Marriage and Family Therapist, Inc. and am the founder at All Things Well,
a company that specializes in complementary and alternative therapies for people with depression, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, and autism.
My marriage and family therapist internship was with two non-profit agencies. The first was Rainbow Recovery, a non-profit that helped women recovering
from substance abuse to reunite with their children. My second internship was at Recovery Connections, a substance abuse treatment facility where
I developed treatment groups that incorporated complementary and alternative therapies, such as meditation, yoga, nutrition, and naturopathy. Through
both internships, I specialized in bringing natural medicine into individual, couples, and family therapy.
I love to share my knowledge with others and in recent years, I have had the privilege of speaking at numerous local and national
conferences and training programs. I enjoy writing and have authored several books and been published in professional journals
and publications.
My first book, Healing & Wholeness: Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Mental Health, is used as a textbook
on integrating natural medicine into psychology. My second book Fasting: An Exceptional Human Experience is about the long history of
fasting for medical, psychological, spiritual, and political reasons.
I am currently at on a new book Relationship Building: Evidenced-Based Approaches to Strengthening Intimate Relationships.
I have completed two landmark studies, both of which were published:
Communication Apprehension among Adult Children of Alcoholics
An Exploratory Study of the Effects of Water Fasting for Depression
Our community has a lot of people in need of help and I am honored to have volunteered on several nonprofit boards.
I have served on the board of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence, the Santa Clara Valley
Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the Willow Glen Business and Professional Association.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and dogs.
I love to walk on the beautiful California beaches, paint landscapes, read, write, and go to the movies.
